Our Story
Koyori, stems from the Japanese language meaning- “little wa” which translates to a culture that promotes a harmonious community over personal interest; harmony of the heart, mind and soul.
The essence of this word defines the founder’s love for creating art and letting others partake in its beauty by owning a Koyori art piece. Through Koyori Kollective we aspire to share her vision of making everyday living an enriching experience.
Vania Scott, the founder of Koyori Kollective, is a free spirit who loves to travel and collect unique art pieces. She believes that human beings are created in God’s image and so, we are a reflection of Him. Therefore, we have the ability to create and give life to extraordinary things, we call, art. The thought of Koyori was born during the pandemic when our founder moved back to her roots and spent time to reconnect with her artistic & spiritual side.
At Koyori Kollective, we believe that creating something and being a part of that process brings transcendent sense of contentment. That is why we strive to learn new art forms, skills that help us hand craft innovative objects and share them with you. All our products are eco-friendly and promote a zero waste lifestyle.
You are welcome to be part of this small movement, as we make an effort to share the love for aesthetic surroundings in our daily lives. We envision Koyori to be a place for expression & self discovery for people from across the globe.
